Sterling Structures recently completed a new two-story police and administration facility for the City of Iowa Colony. This new facility included City Council Chambers, Tax Offices, Administration office, and a complete Police Department with staff headquarters, training rooms, and detention holding cells that were fully constructed to penal standards with security detainment hardware systems. The City of Iowa Colony is located in Brazoria County and is divided by Hwy 288. This fast-growing city, which was founded in 1908 is located South of the Houston Metro area.
Sterling Structures enjoyed the hometown relationships that they built while delivering this new facility for the Police Chief and the City Manager. We continue to enjoy our long term working relationship with architect Scott Brady, AIA, with Joiner Architects.
